How long is the contract?

VUE DMS’ initial term is 24 months. No evergreen here! Month-to-month after the initial term.

How much do I pay to have My Tech Stack - My Way?

You pay $0! Third-party vendor fees vary based on the type of data that is accessed. Average integration fees are $200 per month per rooftop.

Does Dominion DMS ‘throttle’ or slow down data integration with a third-party software? Do you limit third-party vendor access to my DMS data?

No! Dominion DMS considers third-party vendors to be partners. We want an optimized workflow for our common clients. It is your data! So.. we do not throttle the speed or frequency of the data flow to and from your VUE DMS. In fact, we continually work with our vendor partners to add more data elements and improve integrations.

Will you be adding more optional functionality to VUE DMS, so I won’t need to build My Tech Stack - My Way?

Yes and No.
A key driver for us is to not force dealers to pay things they won’t use. And let’s face it, being best-in-class at everything is virtually impossible.

We want to deliver the best core DMS possible! For non-core apps… Dominion DMS prefers to let you pick & choose. We will elevate our vendor partners’ application performance by providing a robust, secure platform for them to access your data.

Your DMS will continue to be your backbone software, transactional system of record and the gateway for OEM communications. We will continue to enhance VUE DMS core features, based on client feedback and, of course, add OEM and government compliance updates.

Is VUE DMS available for independent dealerships?

VUE DMS is designed for franchised automotive dealerships. Our customers who also have used car locations use VUE DMS under the same terms. Typically, we do not implement stand-alone independent stores.

Is VUE DMS available internationally?

VUE DMS is only available in the US 50 states + Puerto Rico.

What vendor partners are available for me to build My Tech Stack- My Way?

Dominion DMS allows any vendor to securely integrate with VUE DMS..  If you do not see your vendor – Let Us Know! We will reach out to them and get integration started.

What if I do not see one of my vendors on your Partner page?

Dominion DMS will allow any vendor to securely integrate to VUE Core DMS.  Let us know if you do not see yours and we will reach out to them to get their integration started. 

What support options does VUE DMS offer after we are installed?

Our US based team approaches ongoing support differently. Chat, phone, email or an online help center… Want a quick screen share? no problem. What’s your preference?

Have a new employee that needs training? No problem. Let us know – we’ve got you covered.

 

Ongoing engagement means a dedicated Customer Success Manager regularly and proactively checks in with your team. They also visit your store in-person each quarter to drive optimization and efficiencies.

 

Did we mention all of this is at no additional cost?!

What if my support question is related to one of the vendors you integrate with? Is there just going to be a bunch of finger pointing?

Our business strategy is built around treating them not just as vendors, but as true partners.  Our support team works directly with our vendor partner support teams so we can quickly resolve any integration issues together for our mutual clients, the dealers. 

I’ve been using my current DMS as long as I can remember, what is going to happen to all of that data I have accumulated?

We convert the data from your current system focusing on a seamless transition.

Pre-Go Live, our deployment team performs an initial conversion of your existing data – we then work with your management team to verify it.  Final conversion takes place the night before you Go Live.

 

Fool me once - shame on you, fool me twice - shame on me! After selecting software for our dealership, we never see another person from that company until it is time for the contract to be renewed. How is Dominion DMS different?

Your VUE DMS agreement becomes month-to-month after the initial term. Much like Missouri is the “Show Me State’, we emphasize proving to you everyday that we are here for you and your team.

 

You are assigned a dedicated Client Success Manager.  They are an extension of your US based support team from the moment you go live! Quarterly optimization visits ensure you are getting the most out of your new DMS.
